On March 7th and 8th, 2024, the management teams of educational centers of the Augustinian Recollect Family in Spain met in Guadalajara with the intention of unifying their commitment to education.
Two days of teamwork delving into our identity and the Institutional Educational Project of the Order (PEI). This sharing has been truly enriching to continue taking big steps in our educational mission, keeping in mind our characteristic seal: the Augustinian Recollect charisma.
"Eight or ten years ago, we were just friars working in schools, nowadays we are a more solid and unified team, also formed by committed laypeople for education and excellent professionals," comments Fr. Juan Luis González, OAR, regional coordinator of the EDUCAR Network in Spain.
The directors considered that these meetings are a new opportunity for growth, especially for future planning and alignment of joint activities. Our identity, what makes us who we are, cannot be relegated; rather, it must be imbued in the work of all our communities. We are part of different centers, but we all form part of a great Educational Network.
