“August with an A for Saint Augustine” Begins, the Augustinian Recollect Family’s Special Feature

August is here and, on Recoletos.org, one of the most anticipated moments of the year begins. Throughout the month, the Order of Augustinian Recollects’ website will offer a special feature dedicated to Saint Augustine, with interviews, reports, articles, news, and resources to discover the richness of his life, thought, and spirituality.

There are certain months that hold a special place in the calendar of the Augustinian Recollect Family. August is one of them. It is the month in which the Church celebrates the memorial of Saint Augustine and a privileged opportunity to reconnect with one of the great teachers in the history of Christianity.

For this reason, Recoletos.org launches a new edition of “August with an A for Saint Augustine,” a special feature designed to bring the figure of the saint of Hippo closer to believers, seekers, and all those who wish to delve deeper into his legacy.

A month to discover Saint Augustine

Over the coming weeks, the website of our Order of Augustinian Recollects will publish interviews, reports, news, formation articles, testimonies, and special content that will help audiences learn more about the life, works, and spirituality of Saint Augustine through social media.

It will be a journey through his thought, his experience of conversion, and the enduring relevance of a message that, sixteen centuries later, continues to shed light on some of the great questions of human life: the search for truth, the meaning of friendship, interiority, community, and the encounter with God.
