Colegio San Sebastián-Recoletos, Inc. (Philippines), winner of the 1st EDUCAR Network Christmas Carol Contest

The EDUCAR Network and the Communication Office of the Order of Augustinian Recollects announce Colegio San Sebastián-Recoletos, Inc. of Manila as the winner of the 1st Christmas Carol Contest with Oh Emmanuel. The 16 participating Christmas carols will be available soon on Recoletos Music.

The EDUCAR Network and the Communication Office of the Agustinos Recoletos have celebrated the first edition of their Christmas Carol Contest, an initiative that has brought together 16 musical proposals from Europe, America, and Asia, performed in Spanish, English, and Portuguese.

Each composition is a sample of the talent, creativity, and faith that encourage our educational communities throughout the world. With these Christmas carols, our centers remind us that music continues to be a privileged way to announce Christ in every place.

After the jury’s deliberation, the winning carol of this first edition is:

“Oh Emmanuel” , from Colegio San Sebastián-Recoletos, Inc. (Manila, Philippines)

A work that stands out for its depth, beauty, and ability to express the hope of Advent and the joy of the birth of the Lord.

Soon, the 16 participating Christmas carols will be available on Recoletos Music, allowing the entire Augustinian Recollect family to listen to and enjoy them.
