Lent is a privileged time to pause, return to our hearts, and renew our faith. It is not only a liturgical season, but also an invitation to examine the course of our personal and communal lives, to purify our intentions, and to prepare ourselves, with hope, for the paschal encounter with Christ.
For the EDUCAR Network and for our educational centers, Lent takes on a special meaning: it is an opportunity to educate from a place of meaning, accompanying children, young people and adults on a path of conversion that touches the mind, the heart and actions.

What does Lent tell us as educators?
For educators, this time invites us to return to what is essential. Amid demanding schedules, constant innovation, and multiple responsibilities, Lent reminds us that educating is, above all, an act of accompaniment and love.
It is a time to ask ourselves:
From what perspective do we educate?
What role does inner life play in our daily work?
How do we support each student in their personal development?
Augustinian pedagogy reminds us that there is no true learning without interiority, without silence, without the search for truth. Lent encourages us to educate with greater awareness, patience, and mercy, being consistent witnesses to what we teach.
What can Lent say to our students?
For our students, Lent can become a pedagogical path of personal growth. Not as a burden, but as an opportunity to:
Learning to look inward,
discovering the value of effort,
practicing solidarity,
recognizing others as brothers and sisters.
Accompanied by their teachers and educational communities, students can discover that faith is not something foreign to daily life, but a light that helps to give meaning to what they live, feel and dream.

To proclaim Christ wherever we can
This year's motto, "Proclaim Christ wherever you can," finds a profound and concrete echo in Lent. Proclaiming Christ is not just about speaking, but about making him visible through actions, attitudes, and everyday choices.
In school, proclaiming Christ means:
To educate based on truth and justice,
to promote relationships based on respect and care,
to provide close support to those who need it most,
to build community amidst diversity.
Each classroom, each recess, each educational encounter thus becomes a space for silent but eloquent announcement.
A Lent lived in community
As the EDUCAR Network, we are called to live this Lent as a community, remembering that we walk together. School, family, and students form an educational community that seeks truth and the common good, inspired by the Augustinian charism.
May this time help us renew our faith, strengthen our hope, and rekindle our charity, so that, when Easter arrives, we may proclaim through our lives that Christ lives and walks with us.
Because to educate is also to proclaim. And proclaiming Christ is, today more than ever, a mission that begins in the heart and is expressed in every daily gesture.
